I can see things going hopeless on me.  Well at least that is how my brain wants to play that old record.  My husband caught me sobbing. But I reassured him like I reassured myself. I am not going down that way.  Not this time. I prepared ahead a positive blog week, knowing the inevitable was coming and I want to share this week quotes from people who make me laugh and/or inspire me or quotes from various places I find re-enforcement and I WILL show my brain and emotions who is boss here!

To kick off a great week I want to start with a quote tribute to Nick Vujicic.  He was born with no arms and no legs and his attitude is inspiring.

Quotes from the amazing Nick Vujicic……

“Remember – action brings reaction. When you are tempted to abandon your dreams, push yourself to continue one more day, one more week, one more month, and one more year. You will be amazed at what happens when you refuse to quit.”

“My goal is to encourage you to overcome your own challenges and hardships so you can find your own purpose and pathway to a ridiculously good life.”

“Don’t let your face plant grow roots.”

“If I fail, I try again, and again, and again… if you fail, are you going to try again?”

“We all have limitations. I’ll never be an NBA star, but that’s ok because I can inspire people to be the stars of their own lives.”

“No arms, no legs, no limits.:”

“No matter how dire your circumstances may appear, you can rise above them. To wish for
change will change nothing. To make the decision to take action right now will change
everything!”

“My life is an adventure still being written – and so is yours. Start writing the first chapter now! Fill it with adventure and love happiness. Live the story as you write it!”

“There’s no point in being complete on the outside when you’re broken in the inside.”

“Even as adults, we create fearful fantasies that simply don’t match up to reality. This explains why fear is often described as “False Evidence Appearing Real.” We become so focused on our fears that they become real to us – and as a result, we let them control us.”

“I found happiness when I realized that as imperfect as I may be, I am the perfect Nick
Vujicic. I am God’s creation, designed according to His plan for me. That’s not to say there
isn’t room for improvement. I’m always trying to be better so I can better serve Him and the world!?”

“I’m here to tell you that no matter what your circumstances may be, as long as you are
breathing, you have a contribution to make.”

“When a lot of BS comes your way, just BS – Be Still… at least for a little while. Be Strong, Be Sober-minded and Be Satisfied with what you have.”

“I don’t care if you are a good mathematician, or a good athletic, or not good at anything –
that you think. But I’m gonna come and tell you that you’re awesome the way you are.”

“Attitude is altitude.”

“Fear is a bigger disability than having no arms and no legs.”

“When you trust that you have blessings – talents, knowledge, love – to share with others,
you will begin the journey to self acceptance even if your gifts are not yet apparent. Once
you begin that walk, others will find you and walk with you.”

“I do believe my life has no limits! I want you to feel the same way about your life, no matter what your challenges may be. As we begin our journey together, please take a moment to think about any limitations you’ve placed on your life or that you’ve allowed others to place on it. Now think about what it would be like to be free of those limitations. What would your life be if anything were possible?”

“Keep moving ahead because action creates momentum, which in turn creates unanticipated opportunities.”

“You fail. I fail. The best of us fail, and the rest of us fail too. Those who never rise from
defeat often see failure as final. What we all need to remember is that life is not a pass-fail test. It’s a trial-and-error process. Those who succeed bounce back from their bonehead mistakes because they view their setbacks as temporary and as learning experiences.”

“I realize I may not have hands to hold my wife’s hand, but when the time comes, I’ll be able to hold her heart. I don’t need hands to hold her heart.”

“Life may not be going well for you now, but as long as you are here, as long as you press
forward, anything is possible.”

“At first I was not willing to confront that what was really wrong with me wasn’t my body, it was the limits I put on myself and my limited vision of the possibilities for my life.”

“Remember this: God has a truly great purpose for your life! Live it without limits!”

“I was so excited that there were scientists and inventors intent on providing me with limbs someday. But I became all the more determined to do whatever I could without waiting for someone else to find something that would improve my life – I had to find my own answers.”
