Have a Self Compassion mantra to say to yourself.

When it is difficult to speak kindly to yourself in your mind, a mantra is helpful. Repeat this over and over to yourself to feel calm.

  • In this moment I am suffering
  • Suffering is a part of living
  • I will be kind to myself in this moment
  • I will befriend myself in this time of need.
