Good Bye and God Bless

Well guys it’s been a fun ride.  I feel my need to blog is over because my heart is so focused on Jesus and service for Him, that I don’t have room for anything else.  He is my King, my Comforter and THE Love of my life.  Through prayer and fasting He has showed me that my that my season here is over. I only write this last post to say, if you are reading this, please take the signs of the times seriously.  If you turn toward Him, read His word, He will enter in so quickly and fully, for He doesn’t want any to perish.

His love is beyond measure and His kingdom is a reward for our faith. He’s coming so very very soon!  The time to make your choice is NOW!!! I do not know the hour of the day, but it is so soon I feel urgent to warn at every opportunity.

Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap. For it will come upon all those who live on the face of the whole earth. Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:34-36)

Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. (Matthew 24:40-44)

May God Bless You and Praise Jesus my King and Savior.

Lord I’m ready now.
I’m waiting for your triumphant return. (You’re coming so soon).
This world has nothing for me,
I find my peace and joy solely in You. (Only in You).
I want the world to see,
You’re alive and living well in me.
Let me be a part,
of the harvest for the days are few. (You’re coming soon).
So People get ready,
Jesus is coming soon
we’ll be going home.
People get ready, Jesus is coming
to take from the world his own.
People get ready, Jesus is coming.
Soon we’ll be going home.
People get ready, Jesus is coming
soon we’ll be going home. (We’ll be going home).
Verse 2:
Theres a day that comes
when we will be divided right and left.
(For those who know Him and those that do not know).
And those whoknow Him well, will meet Him in the air.
Hallelujah! (God is within us).
And those that do not know, they will hear “Depart I knew you not.”
For my friends you see,
there will be a day when we’ll be counted.
So know Him well, know Him well.
(To take His own, to take His own…).
(We’ll be going home, we’ll be going home…).
For my friends you see,
there will be a day when we’ll be counted.
So know him well, know him well.

Crystal Lewis – People Get Ready Lyrics

Daniel 12:1-2 At that time shall arise Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time. But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone whose name shall be found written in the book. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Acts 3:19-21 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, and that he may send the Christ, who has been appointed for you – even Jesus. He must remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets.

Revelation 22:20-21 He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen, Come, Lord Jesus. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.

Just Breathe

Just Breathe

So much can change in a few hours.  From the time I began my earlier blog at 2:30 am to about 30 minutes ago the abrupt outbursts from others in the house are pushing me over the edge.  I pressed on with my itinerary… was in the shower at 7 and on my walk with unfortunately dog only at 7:30.  I came back and hung the valance in my office and tried to just ignore the random yelling.  But finally, I just couldn’t take it… “Do you know how much I want to yell at everyone in this house on a daily basis?!!” “Please for the love of God Stop!” I suddenly feel overwhelmed with anxiety.  My heart is racing, my breaths are labored, my senses are overloaded.  I sat outside after taking anxiety med (little extra) and there come the tears… OK time to move on. Here are tips on how to deal with my specific anxiety glitches… focus JenFaFa… I am sticking to my schedule … Just gotta get through this moment….

How to Slow Down Your Racing Heartbeat When Feeling Anxious

One of the most common and frightening symptoms of anxiety is a racing heartbeat. When I was suffering from frequent panic attacks, my heart would beat so furiously that I worried I was having a heart attack. The following technique can be used to help calm yourself down and return your heartbeat to a more normal pace when feeling anxious.

It all starts with a deep breath…

When you feel overwhelmed with anxiety, take a very deep breath through your mouth and hold it in. While continuing to hold your breath, flex or tense every muscle throughout your body as intensely as you can. Feel every inch of your body tremble from the strain. Continue squeezing your muscles for 5-10 seconds, and then immediately relax every muscle as you slowly exhale through your nose.

As you exhale you will feel an incredible release of tension and stress throughout your body. Your heartbeat will slow to a more natural and relaxed pace as does your breathing, which helps to calm you down.

Breathe normally for the next minute or so and then repeat this exercise. Doing just one or two iterations is often enough to provide tremendous relief.

I’ve used this technique to overcome panic attacks when flying, stuck in traffic, and before public speaking. It helps provide immediate relief and can snap you out of an anxious state of mind. When anxiety arises, give it a try.

Accept that you’re anxious.

Remember that “anxiety is just a feeling, like any other feeling,” said Deibler, also author of the Psych Central blog “Therapy That Works.” By reminding yourself that anxiety is simply an emotional reaction, you can start to accept it, Corboy said.

Acceptance is critical because trying to wrangle or eliminate anxiety often worsens it. It just perpetuates the idea that your anxiety is intolerable, he said.

But accepting your anxiety doesn’t mean liking it or resigning yourself to a miserable existence.

“It just means you would benefit by accepting reality as it is – and in that moment, reality includes anxiety. The bottom line is that the feeling of anxiety is less than ideal, but it is not intolerable.”

Use a calming visualization.

Hyland suggested practicing the following meditation regularly, which will make it easier to access when you’re anxious in the moment.

“Picture yourself on a river bank or outside in a favorite park, field or beach. Watch leaves pass by on the river or clouds pass by in the sky. Assign [your] emotions, thoughts [and] sensations to the clouds and leaves, and just watch them float by.”

This is very different from what people typically do. Typically, we assign emotions, thoughts and physical sensations certain qualities and judgments, such as good or bad, right or wrong, Hyland said. And this often amplifies anxiety. Remember that “it is all just information.”

That was very helpful.  There go my thoughts on those balloons.  Flying away from me effortlessly.

Look at this guy.  Just chillin.  Ahhh …a smile creeps to my face.

A Ray Of Sunshine

A Ray Of Sunshine

Aim for at least 15 minutes of sunlight a day to boost your mood. If you live somewhere with little winter sunshine, try using a light therapy box. Practice relaxation techniques. A daily relaxation practice can help relieve symptoms of depression, reduce stress, and boost feelings of joy and well-being.

I wanted to share a verse I read this morning that touched my heart so deeply.  For all that is too much right now, it is going to be OK.  I repeat to myself… EVERYTHING is going to be OK.

Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)

So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Say to yourself “I’m here for you” and then be there.

Remember how good it feels when someone offers to help unexpectantly? You can do this for yourself. Notice you don’t feel well. Ask yourself what do you need or want. And give that thing to yourself. You will feel cared for.

If you don’t hear what to do, choose something caring for yourself. If you were British you would make yourself a cup of tea for example. It is the act that feels warm and connecting not necessarily what was done.

Sensory Kit Complete

Sensory Kit Complete

I followed through on creating my touch/hearing sensory kit and utilized it for the past weeks to see if it really was a good fit.  It is amazing!!!

I have deviated a little from my original list but I am just as happy with the  results.  I used the bag I bought when I visited my son in Alaska with 2 zipper pouches.  It is exactly the right size for what I need.

In it I have:

  1. Stress Ball. Absolutely my favorite.  His face is awesome to squish when I’m stressed and the gelatin feel is perfect.  I opted not to go with the fuzzy hair ball when I saw this guy. His face is great just to squish when I just need a smile too.
  2. Fuzzy Sock.
  3. Worry Stone.  This I didn’t really enjoy as much until I put it in the sock.  Now I just keep it in there at all times and it works really well.
  4. Back Up Earphones. For when my Bluetooth dies
  5. Suckers.  Smoking oral fixation soothe (not sensory help but a help all the same)

The final result (It’s not pretty but it’s only for me so who cares):

Time Warp

I think I kinda saw it coming.  My desire to create a blog was a clear indication today is not going well.  Well not bad just distracting.  I work from home and for clients onsite and today is my home office day.  I have so much to get done.  Even reorganized my desk 2 days ago in order of importance…. days after I told my daughter to take the damn week off because I needed space from her and she just isn’t living up to my expectations (lies my brain tells and hurts her all the same or I think she’s kinda used to it)…but there the pile sits and I know I need to start… but nearly 4 hours later I have “had” to do the dishes, half ass foot wipe the floor with a towel, spray down the counters but only actually wiped a portion of the cleaner off.

Oh then there was the decision of what I am wearing.  When I have clothing confusion days it is my worst enemy.  I simply can’t find a stupid outfit to wear.  Dang what I finally chose is just not right.  Need to go change again.

The bed is a mess, why can’t I just go make it.  I look at it and know it would take 2 seconds and did I brush my hair?  Yes I brushed my hair but it looks like a 2 year old did it with a stupid head band that keeps falling forward… I should just use a clip…. no curl it… that would take too long and too much energy.  I really need to dye it.  But I just took a shower.  The color won’t hold.

I really need to pick up the living room.  There are things strewn about.  It would take me 2 minutes to just pick it up.  But first I need to change.  No first I need to go through this pile on my desk.

I am waisting time even now as I write and for some reason it is making me feel accomplished even if it’s for no reason.
